Gallia County Senior Resource Center Safety Symposium for Senior Citizens at 1165 St. Rt. 160, Gallipolis, OH 45631, September 26, 2023 at 5:30 pm. There will be refreshments, completion certificates, and door prizes. Participants will learn Self protection against elder abuse: Financial, Physical, and Mental; Recovery Services; Prosecution of cases through the court system. Participants will learn about free smoke detector installation service from Red Cross. Participants will meet the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office therapy dog. Speakers include Adult Protective Services, Gallia County Sheriff’s Office, Gallia County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and Red Cross.
